We were asked by the wonderful Kes of @studiogleaned to upcycle a beautiful, vintage, silk kimono into #thebilliepinafore
The trickiest thing to do was to keep the integral silk lining as part of the pinafore ...
You can see this in the gorgeous flashes of silk red and mustard in the back 'tail' of the #pinafore ...
We'll be making some more vintage, kimono pinafores ... In the meantime, if you have any sort of fabric, kimono or otherwise, that you'd like upcycled to #thebilliepinafore , pop us a DM, and we'll be happy to make ...
